Enjoy Uganda’s Primates in a single Safari, combining Bwindi Impenetrable or Mgahina National Parks for Gorilla Trekking, then Queen Elizabeth National park for some game viewing including Tree climbing lions, leopard, elephants, Antelopes, warthogs and bush pigs, Buffalos and Hippos among many more, then Kibale Forest National Park for Chimpanzee Trekking.
You will be met by our representative at the Airport then transfer to Fairway Hotel in Kampala for dinner and your overnight stay.
After your early morning breakfast, you will be met by our representative at Fairway Hotel, embark on your journey to Mgahinga National Park (Mucha Lodge) on this journey you may see traditional farms as well as some game as you drive by Lake Mburo National Park. Stop over for a lunch break in Mbarara at Agip Motel, then proceed to Kisoro via Kabale towns (the Switzerland of Uganda), proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay
Early morning breakfast, your guide will drive you to the briefing point at Visitor Centre before starting the gorilla trek, should the trek last up to lunch time then picnic lunches and drinks will be had in the forest. When the gorillas are located, visitors are allowed a maximum of an hour with them after which you return to the starting for your “Gorilla Trekking graduation” ceremony and certificate awarding. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After an early morning breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park (Mweya) via the Ishasha sector in the southern part the drive will continue to unvail beauties of the pearl of Africa, have a short drive by game drive in search of various animals including our favorite, the tree climbing lion, which are believed to be endemic to this region. You may also see elephants, Leopards Topi, Uganda Kob among may other antelopes and an assortment of game, Proceed to Mweya for a 4pm boat Launch cruise on the Channel in search on birds and game. (the 41km Channel connecting lake George and Lake Edward has more than 250 species of birds, elephants’ baboons, different monkey species among other game. Return to your accommodation in time for dinner and your overnight
After an early morning breakfast, check out of Mweya Safari Lodge to proceed to Kibale Forest National Park, you will have a game drive in the Channel and Kasenyi Game tracks in search of Elephants, leopard, lions buffalos, Antelopes, different monkey species and many more game species, proceed to primate lodge to arrive in time for a late lunch, relax to the sounds of different primate calls, forest birds and butterflies to mention just a few.
After an early morning breakfast proceed to the starting point for a briefing and additional information on Chimpanzees what to do and what not to do etc. Explore Kibale Forest National Park. Kibale Forest hosts over 13 primate species. A guided forest trek can be arranged in search of one of the most popular primate species in the world – the chimpanzee. There are 9 diurnal primates, these include, vervet, red‐tailed, L’Hoest’s, blue monkeys, grey‐cheeked manabey, red colobus, black and white colobus, olive baboon and the most famous of all, the chimpanzee. Although chimp sightings are not guaranteed, there is high likelihood of encountering them. You will then go on a forest walk in search of primates. Whilst trekking in the depths of the lush green forest, you will be surrounded by bird song and can expect to see at least 5 or 6 other types of primate, most probably the grey‐cheeked mangebey and the red‐tailed monkey and of course the chimpanzee. The walking is fairly easy due to the well‐maintained trails and reasonably flat terrain. In the afternoon we will have a swamp walk.
On the morning of this day we drive back to Kampala, through Fort Portal via Rwetera towns and the magnificent Rwenzori Tea Estates, then on to Kyenjojo and Mityana townsn to arrive Kampala after 5 to 6 hours Check into your Hotel for your Overnight stay/Entebbe/Entebbe International Airport
